Pion-Era Honoured by Tourism Saskatoon

WDM wins Tourism Saskatoon Award 2011On June 8, 2011, Tourism Saskatoon held an event to recognize the efforts of organizations and individuals in promoting Saskatoon tourism through various events. A gala event was held at the Sheraton Cavalier where awards were presented to 11 individuals. Pion-Era was recognized for being part of the Saskatoon community since 1955. Brenda Mundell accepted the award for Pion-Era which was being honoured in the Annual Festivals category. Brenda acknowledged the efforts of our many volunteers for the work put into Pion-Era over the years. Pion-Era could not have been successful for so many years without the tireless efforts of our volunteers. Thank you to Brenda as well, for her guidance in planning Pion-Era for the past four years.
