A Place to Call Home - Immigration to SK


Program Information

Students will learn about immigration and relocation Saskatchewan from the perspectives of children representing different time periods and cultures. Through in-classroom lesson plans, students will investigate the ethnic origins of people in their community as well as the emotional aspects of immigrating to a new country, both positive and negative. In the in-museum Discovery Box program, students will learn about the journeys of fictional immigrants and the special possessions they brought with them to Saskatchewan.
