Classy Cars

In this exhibit, the Museum presents eleven of its "classy" cars which feature innovative design, quality engineering or excellent performance. Some are rare. They span 70 years, from a 1907 Russel to a 1979 Lincoln.

1975 Bricklin SV1

The Bricklin SV represents New Brunswick’s attempt to enter the automobile manufacturing industry. Malcolm Bricklin, an American entrepreneur, wanted to manufacture a sports car. He relied heavily on the visual appeal of his car. Its front-end styling was viewed either with admiration or contempt. Few opinions are netural. "SV" stood for Safety Vehicle.

This car was used to promote Regina radio station CKRM’s 50th anniversary.

1930 Packard Sedan

One of the three Ps of luxury cars: Packard, Peerless and Pierce Arrow. Its last stop was Saskatoon on a 1954 trip from Ontario.
