65 Years of Collecting
In honour of the WDM’s official founding in 1949, we look back on a
sampling of artifacts collected over our first 65 years.

WDM Celebrates 65 Years in 2014
To help celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Western Development Museum,
we encourage people to visit their local WDM this year. Those celebrating
their 65th birthday in
2014 will receive free admission on their birth date, as well as a
birthday present from the Museum! On April 6, 2014 (the Sunday after the
actual anniversary date of April 2nd), admission to the four WDMs will be
only 65 cents.
